Actually, she added an extra “I” for positivity, as she recently stated to the public that she’s changing her name, not all Prince and symbol like, but adding an extra “I” to her name. Right next to the other “I” that’s already there. So now her name is still pronounced Amerie, only it’s spelled Ameriie.Amerie Changes Her Name
